LEGO Wall Track System

Turn your LEGO® train layout into a room-wide display — without needing a dedicated train table, basement, or spare room.

The Wallego Wall Track System lets you run your trains high on the wall, where they can be seen and enjoyed every day. It’s a practical way to save floor space, keep your layout on display, and transform an ordinary room into an elevated railway adventure.

Designed by a longtime model railroader, the system was developed through extensive prototyping, testing, redesigning, and 3D printing. The result is a lightweight, versatile wall-mounting solution made specifically for LEGO® track and compatible track systems.

Secure, Space-Saving Track Support

The heart of the system is the Wallego 3D-printed wall bracket.

More than a simple support, each bracket helps lock adjoining track sections together, creating a stable and secure connection while keeping the track close to the wall. Mounted at the right height, the system allows people at floor level to look up and watch the trains run overhead.

The brackets are designed for LEGO® brand track and are also compatible with many grey-market and 3D-printed track systems.

Despite their compact size, the brackets are lightweight and surprisingly strong. They are designed to support an elevated track installation without adding unnecessary bulk or visual clutter.

Flexible Installation Options

You do not necessarily need a bracket at every track joint. When using LEGO® track with LEGO® plates to help stabilize adjoining sections, brackets spaced approximately 10 inches apart — typically at every other join — can work very well.

Each bracket includes two tapered screw holes, giving you flexibility when positioning and securing the track. In one installation, an entire room was fitted with track using only one screw per bracket.

Prefer to minimize the number of holes in your wall? The brackets can also be attached to wood trim, with the trim secured to the wall using only a few strategically placed screws. Depending on the wall surface and application, a suitable construction adhesive may also be an option.

Always choose mounting hardware and installation methods appropriate for your wall type and the weight of your completed layout.

How Many Brackets Do I Need?

For a typical installation using LEGO® brand track, plan on approximately one bracket every 10 inches.

For example, a 10-foot wall is 120 inches long:

120 ÷ 10 = approximately 12 spaces, plus one additional bracket

That means you may need approximately 12 brackets per wall, depending on your layout, track configuration, corners, and installation preferences.

Every room is different. Walls may not be perfectly straight, corners may not be perfectly square, and some layouts may require additional support or flexibility. In one installation, several sections of flex track were used to bring the complete layout together smoothly.
